Restoring teeth has never been easier than with New Iberia veneers. At the offices of Dr. Adrian M. Simm, DDS, we’ll recreate the natural look of real teeth with porcelain veneers to make your smile great again. Teeth that were previously misshapen or stained, cracked or chipped can now look new again with veneers, giving your smile a whole new look.
New Iberia Veneers are made from thin porcelain shells that cover the front of the teeth. They’re custom made and fabricated. Porcelain is the most favored material used for veneers because their natural look and feel are closest to that of regular teeth. They also provide the same kind of strength and are comparable in strength even to natural tooth enamel, which makes them perfect for restoring teeth back to a more natural, aesthetically pleasing state. Those who desire veneers are usually looking to change the shape, size or color of their real teeth. And the good news is that those with broken, misshapen or gaped teeth can also benefit from veneers. Since veneers are most often used only in the front of the teeth, they can also be an economical option.
After your initial consultation, we’ll create your New Iberia veneers, which are actually several layers that replace the original tooth enamel. Before applying veneers, we remove a small amount of your original tooth enamel in order to make room, usually only less than a millimeter. This allows the veneers to fit comfortably in the mouth and to ensure a perfect appearance so that they appear exactly close to natural teeth. Because veneers are individually custom made for each patient, they look so lifelike that it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the veneers and your real teeth, making them a suitable option for teeth restoration.
